ALC Investigations regarding Alternative Streams of Revenues |

At present, Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) and Canadian Crown Corporation (CCC) are investigating for alternative streams of generating revenues. They are doing this by the virtue of research request for the feasibility of an interactive TV betting service in a proposal for augmenting declining revenues as reported by media publication named Winnipeg. ALC conducts lottery games in Atlantic Canada, which has owned in combination by governments of four Atlantic Provinces as Newfoundland and Labrador (N & L), New Brunswick (NB), Nova Scotia (NS) and Prince Edward Island (PEI).
The speaker of ALC, Jennifer Lawlor has commented that all are about them, who are performing due diligence as per up-and-coming trend in the technological world. He further states that Personal Computers (PC)/ Laptops and Televisions both are moving forward simultaneously and having various offerings with them. Amid Psychologists have shown their concerns regarding the immediate availability of betting services by interactive TV and revealed that it may lead to problem gambling. Finally, speaker of Newfoundland and Labrador (N & L) Government stated that any new service examined very closely before undertaking any purchase or signing contract.
