This weekend, reports from Jamaica has highlighted the arrest of 22 citizens of Jamaica, during a series of actions done taken at 8 premises of the island. These Jamaicans have suspected to be involved in the mobile and online lottery fraud, which has conned multi million dollars from innocent people of America.
According to the statement of Police, “At present, we have done only interrogation with the suspects of Jamaica, but we do not have put charge on them until now. However, we have seized massive cash worth $800,000 and 16 luxurious cars, along with several personal computers.” Initially, the lottery scammers have told the American citizens that they have won a massive lottery prize. After this, scammers ask them to send money, required for claiming their fake lottery prizes. During the recent years, lottery scammers have spoiled the reputation of Jamaica in front of online lottery and other casino players.
